July 4th in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge
On July 3rd, the 49th Annual Gatlinburg's Fourth of July Midnight Parade will take place. There will be a meet and greet with the Grand Marshall at 2pm, followed by the parade starting at midnight.
On July 4th, there will be the Gatlinburg River Raft Regatta during the day. In Pigeon Forge, the Patriot Festival at Patriot Park will also take place. Fireworks are scheduled to start in Pigeon Forge around 9:45 pm and in Gatlinburg around 10 pm, including a drone show.
JULY 3
- 2:00 pm: Meet and Greet with the Grand Marshal of the 49th Annual Gatlinburg's Fourth of July Midnight Parade. Location: Ole Smoky Moonshine Holler
- 11:59 pm: 49th Annual Gatlinburg’s Fourth of July Midnight Parade will take place on July 3rd at 11:59 pm and kick off at 12:01 am on July 4th, making it the beginning of the "First Independence Day Celebration in the Nation." The parade has received recognition as a "Top Ten Parade to see in the US" by National Geographic Traveler Magazine and has been rated by Livability.com as one of the "Five Best Fourth of July Celebrations in Smaller Cities" so it's not to be missed!
JULY 4
- 11:00 am: Gatlinburg’s River Raft Regatta
- 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm: River race starting at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies
- 2:00 pm: Patriot Festival at Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge featuring food vendors and a live performance by Joe Nichols
- 9:00 pm: 4th of July Celebration in Gatlinburg
- 9:45 pm: Fireworks start in Pigeon Forge
- 10:00 pm: Fireworks and Drone Show start in Gatlinburg
